1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern all programs, memberships, certifications, and services offered by the Chartered Institute of Education and Training (CIET). By applying, enrolling, or engaging with CIET, individuals agree to abide by these terms.
2. Eligibility and Application
- Applicants must meet stated eligibility criteria for their selected program or membership grade.
- All applications are subject to verification and approval by CIET.
- CIET reserves the right to reject incomplete or fraudulent applications without notice.
3. Fees and Payments
- Applicable fees (membership, certification, or training) must be paid as instructed by CIET.
- All payments are non-refundable once processing begins, except in exceptional cases.
- Late or missed annual subscription payments may result in suspension of membership or certification status.
4. Certification and Membership Validity
- Professional certifications are valid for three (3) years and renewable upon proof of CPD compliance.
- Membership remains active only when annual subscriptions are paid and the member remains in good standing.
- CIET reserves the right to revoke certifications or memberships for breach of ethics or misconduct.
5. Code of Conduct
All members and certified professionals must:
- Uphold the integrity and reputation of CIET.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Avoid misrepresentation of credentials.
- Demonstrate respect, fairness, and professionalism in all dealings.
6. Intellectual Property
All CIET materials, including logos, course content, and publications, are the property of CIET. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.
7. Limitation of Liability
CIET shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in its programs or services.
8. Termination or Suspension
CIET may suspend or terminate membership, certification, or program participation for:
- Misconduct or unethical behavior
- Non-payment of fees
- Breach of CIET policies or code of conduct
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Hawaii, USA.
